Reading Response

I thought the most interesting part of this article is towards the end when he is talking about people being able to solve problems through twitter, and people “knowing themselves” better with twitter than they would without. It was interesting to think of status updates as a way of processing events that have happened to you, rather than just trying to share mundane events of your life. I also thought it was interesting to think of the social media networks as a small town, where everyone knows your business, because this is exactly why I try not to post too much on Facebook. I don’t want to get to the point where everyone has a very specific idea of who I am and what I’m into just through my social media accounts.
